On December 25, 1954, the Sichuan-Xizang and Qinghai-Xizang highways reached Lhasa, ending the history of no highways in Xizang and creating a miracle in the history of world highways. This year marks the 70th anniversary of the opening of the two highways, and the tremendous transportation changes are witnessed through data.
